The Tasmanian School of Business and Economics, previously known as the Faculty of Business at the University of Tasmania, is becoming one of Australia’s top business schools. Students applying to start in 2014 will be eligible for a limited number of exclusive bursaries, set up to commemorate 100 years of Economics at the University and the launch of the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics. The University is committed to rewarding excellence and improving access to higher education, and will make 100 bursaries of up to AUD$10,000 available for selected courses and/or for students from selected locations.

Get your foot in the door with an internship placement

International students at the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics are offered the opportunity of internships, setting them far ahead and ready for the professional workplace. Students enrolling in 2014 will undertake these exclusive placements in either 2015 or 2016, adding practical experience to the academic training they receive. Placements may take place in Australia and overseas, giving students a foot in the door for the job market internationally.
