The School of Engineering consistently achieves a Top Ten position in the UK subject league tables and was recently ranked by the Times and Sunday Times the 4th best general engineering School in the UK. The breadth of engineering topics we offer, our active research culture, the support and encouragement provided to students, our established links with business and industry and access to the latest technologies for research and teaching ensure that our graduates are equipped to meet the challenges they will face in modern industry or in further studies.
The School’s professionally accredited undergraduate courses expose students to all of the major Engineering disciplines. Comprehensively trained in a broad range of topics, students are able to make informed choices with regards to specialization in Years 3 and 4. The MSc courses in Engineering at the University of Warwick are designed to provide comprehensive training in established as well as emerging fields, such as sustainable energy technologies, modern power grids, information engineering and advanced healthcare technologies, with many others besides. Students study eight taught modules, with a broad choice of options enabled by the multidisciplinarity of the School’s research activity.
