University of Leicester

At undergraduate level (first degree), you can specialise in Aerospace, Communications, Electronic, Mechanical, Software or General Engineering. With each type of course, you are given the opportunity of working for a year in industry or studying abroad between the second and third years of study.

If you’re looking to study at postgraduate level (Master’s degree), you can opt to combine your studies with an inbuilt industrial placement, where you will be assisted onto a professional engineering placement by a dedicated member of our student support team. You can also opt to undertake an Engineering Master’s degree with Management, where you will combine the scientific and technical aspects of engineering with the complex study of management. These ‘with Management’ MSc degrees will give you the edge in the graduate labour market, intending to prepare you for future managerial roles in industry.
