Bryant University is based in Rhode Island, USA. Its standing as a world-leader in international business education is exemplified by its introduction of new coursework. A new undergraduate major along with three specialist MBAs all have strong international underpinnings. A strong international perspective prevails.
In the School of Business, students have the privilege of studying under a diverse and distinguished faculty, many of whom have worked with well-known multinationals. Above all, the faculty are tuned in to international business dynamics, and they bring this to bear in the classroom.
International Business Program
The undergraduate International Business Program is a leading contender for students from Asia. Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranks it in the top 30 business programs in the US. The curriculum is specifically interested in business dynamics on a global scale, exploring the effects that international trends, decisions and events have on local and national organizations. Students can specialize in one of the following fields: Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Global Supply Chain Management or Marketing.
Undergraduates work on real-world projects in the course of their studies – particularly during their senior year practicum. They become proficient in a second language and embark on study abroad modules. In the process, they gain a deeper global perspective, learn to navigate foreign culture and are able to practice their language skills. Graduates with this level of international background are highly employable.
By the time they graduate, students have a firm grasp of how globalization plays out in a 21st-century business environment. They develop an understanding of the world’s evolving business culture, and they’re equipped to harness new technologies in innovative and effective ways.
Specialized MBA programs
Postgraduate students can earn a specialized MBA in Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM), Global Finance or International Business. These specialist degrees are products of intensive discourse with industry players. As such, they directly reflect the needs of companies that hire Bryant University students.
Each of the specialized MBA programs features a Global Immersion Experience (GIE). This is a three-credit course that includes 10 to 12 days of international travel. They gain valuable, real-world experience in the process – meeting with senior executives at international firms and helping to develop solutions to real business problems.
