DRAMATIC footage of a three-story building falling backwards as a man stands watching has emerged online, showing the effects of severe rains and flooding in southern China.
The building collapsed in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region early this week, as parts of China became partially submerged underwater from relentless rain.
The man is seen standing in front of the building as it begins to creak, and then topples over, completely uprooting the structure.
Flood alerts were issued in the region about a week ago, and reports say the torrential downpour is set to continue for the next few weeks.
According to CRI English, about 480 counties across the country, representing nearly 7.5 million people, have been affected.
Official figures reportedly show the lashing rain and flooding has resulted in the deaths of at least 74 people, with 12 others missing. Over 300,000 people have been evacuated from their homes, reports CRI English.
The footage was recorded by a local resident, and no injuries were reported, according to BBC.
