International students at Bath

The University of Bath is one of the top Universities in the UK. It’s a medium-sized University with approximately 15,937 students, and 25% of our students come from outside of the UK.

Here’s what some of our international students and alumni say about their experience at the University of Bath:

“The University of Bath is world leading in academic excellence with no doubt, and the extremely high student satisfaction is was attractive to me. Another big motivation to come here is from the city itself, because I think the city of Bath is definitely one of the most wonderful cities in the UK and full of humanistic spirit! I was impressed by the city from the first time I came here!”

Xiaoli Cong, MSc International Money and Banking graduate

“We received very good support from our tutors and teaching staff. They guide us step-by-step to acquire knowledge with patience and consideration and are always willing to listen to our needs. Being supportive, patient and tolerant, teaching staff set us a very good model of what a good educator should be. Before becoming a teacher myself, I feel I am lucky to have the opportunity to learn what qualified teachers should be from the excellent models of teachers at the University of Bath.”

Tingting Chen, MA Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) graduate

“My masters has helped me get a solid grounding in development practice and I will always be able to think critically about development issues and provide practical solutions that go beyond just recognising the problem. Upon graduating I plan to step into the field with greater confidence and possibly work with a charity or NGO which looks at improving the lives of youth and children.”

Taonga Silungwe, MSc International Development

“The environment on campus is very impressive. Whenever I was tired of working, I felt like sitting down under a tree near the lake, reading a book. With ducks walking by, squirrels jumping in the trees and rabbits eating grass from afar, you can enjoy a tranquil moment. In terms of the city of Bath, it is a famous tourist destination listed on the world cultural heritage category. A lovely city with wonderful people!”
