Our new Master of Business Administration (MBA) International course is for aspiring managers looking to enter the field of business and management, developing you to professional management status.
This business course is aimed at aspiring managers who may not possess any previous work experience and has been developed with students’ future employability and career development in mind.
The MBA International course has been designed to develop the practical competencies of students such as interpersonal, self-management, communication, networking and research skills.
This postgraduate level programme will inform and enhance the ‘real-life’ experiences of students with a focus on an applied/practitioner orientation through the significant use of case studies as a learning and teaching vehicle enabling students to appreciate the complexities of decision-making in the business industry and world of management.
Students on the MBA International course will also benefit from an increased focus on international business perspectives which recognises the changing international business environment and the need for managers of the future to possess the knowledge and skills to cope with the ‘new’ market reality.
Students will also have the opportunity to undertake in-company internships leading to in-company projects (optional for students) or a dissertation.
Our graduates have secured jobs as managers and commercial directors – as well as more diverse roles such as housing managers and operations managers.
They work for companies such as British Refugee Council, Sandwell Council, Service Birmingham Ltd, UN Ltd and Prestige Systems.
