The 2014 TWU Goodwill Tour began on September 19 when the Spartan men’s volleyball team traveled from Vancouver International Airport to Shanghai Pudong Airport. After checking through customs the Goodwill Tour group had a 5 a.m. breakfast and began their 16 hour day in Shanghai. They traveled to downtown Shanghai and toured the historic Bund financial district. The Spartans followed the riverside tour with a trip to the top of the Shanghai World Financial Center. At the top of the 492 meter structure the tour group was able to take in a breathtaking view of Shanghai from above on a gorgeous sunny Sunday morning.

The tour continued with the team traveling to and visiting Yuyuan Garden and touring the old town area of Shanghai. After lunch, some shopping and checking in at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Fudan University the Spartans and entourage had a quick local dinner before heading out to view the Shanghai Acrobatic Show.
