/>Brazilian adventure-travel magazine, Go Outside, has collaborated with Sao Paulo radio station, Band FM, to broadcast a music program that naturally repels mosquitoes.

/>

/>The radio station plays a 15 kHz frequency sound that is inaudible to humans, but repels mosquitoes because it mimics the sound of dragonflies—a natural predator of mosquitoes.

/>

/>The concept behind this ‘repelling’ idea was to encourage radio listeners to head outside from 6pm to 8pm, when mosquitos’ bites were most frequent.
