EBS has a long-standing reputation for excellence in education and a global perspective that allows the school to train future business leaders on an international level.

Students choose to enroll in either one of EBS’ two six-semester Bachelor’s programmes, five specialist 18-month Master’s programmes in Automotive Management, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Real Estate, which all include a study experience abroad, or the EBS Full-time MBA, which offers three track options.

The Bachelor’s programmes include a General Management degree and Bachelor in Aviation management. Students in these programmes gain valuable international experience through EBS’ close relationship with its partner universities. They typically spend three semesters abroad at one of 11 specially selected partner schools in Asia, Canada, South America our Europe.

The Master’s programme allows students to develop a solid foundation in all aspects of business management. Based on a three-semester structure, the programme requires all degree candidates to study managerial economics, research methods, and  philosophy, ethics and leadership, in addition to a more in-depth study in their chosen area of expertise. EBS emphasizes the importance of practical relevance when it comes to teaching, and requires that all Master’s applicants have completed 10 weeks of practical training prior to enrolling in the programme.

This course is well-suited to those seeking an international experience, as Master’s candidates receive training in international research and teaching methods.

All Master’s programme participants benefit from the wealth of resources offered by the EBS Career Services Centre, which holds networking events such as career fairs and assists with work placement. The school also maintains strong partnerships with other top universities and enjoys solid relationships with corporate partners such as Deloitte, Audi, Goldman Sachs, Ernst & Young, Coca-Cola and others.

Master’s student Kirsten Eckel had high praise for her EBS experience.

“After getting my Bachelor‘s degree at a leading state university, I was looking for a more individual programme for my Master’s degree. EBS offered me the ideal combination: a well-known business school, small classes, committed professors, and fellow students from all over the world,” she said. “Also, for me as a Master‘s student, it was of particular importance that from the first day on, companies were present on the campus. That way I had the chance to identify the exact field of work I wanted to go into and was able to already establish contacts.”

The full-time MBA programme is specifically designed for those who have some professional experience and are looking to strengthen their management and leadership skills. MBA students have three tracks from which to choose.

The 12-month MBA Accelerated Track is intended for students with an advanced academic degree and extensive work experience. Applicants for this programme typically have spent time in the professional world and are looking for an intensive programme that will bolster their management abilities and credentials.

Accelerated students are intermingled with Gateway to Germany and International Track students, and so gain a well-rounded perspective while studying leadership and management strategies.

The 16-month Gateway to Germany Track prepares international students for a career in the German corporate world. This unique programme emphasizes essentials such as language efficiency and soft skills, which any international students seeking to work in the German business sector will need.

International Track students graduate with a strong understanding of global corporate strategy and a broad perspective on what is necessary for a successful career in this arena. A semester spent abroad enhances students’ international experience and gives them a sense of what a career in the global business scene will entail.

”I chose an MBA at EBS because it helped me to gain innovative management knowledge, which I was able to apply in real-life business situations through project work and case studies,“ said Ifthikhar Javed, a 2011 EBS graduate. ”It also prepared me to be a global citizen through the daily interactions I had with students and professors from all over the world.
