ISP blocks a Thai political blog

Thankfully, it is has unblocked it now, but it does show you the perils of these filters. Absolutely Bangkok, which was blocked (and is now unblocked) by one Thai ISP, has the story.

BP: Thai Hotline, the particular organization that was responsible for passing on information leading to the blocking of Absolutely Bangkok, states they want to free Thailand from content about child pron, phishing, but also defamation (การหมิ่นประมาท) and infringements of the person (often used for privacy) (การละเมิดสิทธิส่วนบุคคล). Those last two are extremely subjective. If ASTV Manager states that Thaksin wants to overthrow the monarchy and someone reports them, will this lead to ASTV being blocked?
