Why did you come to WVU? The teachers at WVU are so nice and that definitely influenced me.
What do you like best about WVU? I like the Student Recreation Center. I work out there quite a bit.
What has been your favorite experience at the CAC? Performing in Bloch Hall.
Would you recommend your major of choice to others? Yes, I definitely would.
Describe some opportunities that you have gotten to exhibit your own work or talent that you’ve gotten while studying at the CAC. We have lots of guest artists give master classes here and workshops in summer, so those have been great opportunities for me to learn more.
Who is your favorite professor and why? Dr. Peter Amstutz, because he is not only a talent pianist, but also a good teacher.
Have you been inspired to help others or bring awareness to a social or economical issue through your art or what you’ve learned in your studies? Music Teachers National Association does several events like those, so I help others through that organization.
How does degree from the College prepare you for the real world? It helps me learn my craft as thoroughly as possible before going to the real world.
Why would you recommend your major to an incoming student? Yes, you should come to see how wonderful this major is.
