I hope you don’t mind me using this latest blog entry as a chance for a shameless plug!Students from the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies have been working tirelessly for months organising a conference called Narratives of Migration and Exile in the Hispanic and Lusophone World. The conference will take place on 21-22 February, featuring a keynote from Professor Silvia Molloy, Albert Schweitzer Chair of Humanities at New York University, and the launch of a new book called Londres y el liberalismo hispánico with the editors Dr Daniel Muñoz Sempere (King’s College London) and Dr Gregorio Alonso (University of Leeds), as well as papers by postgraduate students from across the country and beyond.
