J. Leonard is a Masters Conducting student at West Virginia University College of Creative Arts-School of Music. His program included works by Jacob, Tchaikovsky, Whitacre, and Boegehold (another WVU grad). Leonard conducted the members of following ensembles: WVU Wind Symphony, WVU Chamber Winds, WVU Chamber Orchestra, and students in the Trumpet studio.
