They are addicted to suicide, why on earth this would be the No. 1 story is beyond me!  If she had only eaten the damn thing before it died.

Of all the misconceptions or false hopes we humans have been led into, going to a better place right after one dies probably tops the top-ten list. If only each one of us endeavored to be an academic (a true one) and put every knowledge and wisdom under the sun in one pot to stew on them, we would have much less of this most deplorable and horrific tragedy. The Bible, which heads that great mass of knowledge and wisdom (no, friends, it’s not some mythical book—study it over and over to find out), clearly says that death is a form of unconsciousness  or sleep, and whoever is in that state has no knowledge of anything.  Simply put, it’s complete nothingness. But it also foretells of a great resurrection, when the dead will be roused up (our deceased parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, etc.) into a world where they’ll truly learn to embrace who they are, and why they were born to begin with.

Those who have had, or heard, of some out-of-body experience of seeing a bright light, please don’t assume that that’s where you’ll be going soon after you breathe your last. It might be just Heaven’s way of revealing some future event—or might very well be the subtle work of that dark, invisible but very real world headed by Satan and his minions, whom many of us erroneously think is another myth.

And for those of you contemplating suicide, please stop for a moment. Living is a test—of how much you can grow and wise up, to be worthy someday to be part of our Creator, His children. Imagine no longer dying and being able to create too throughout the whole universe! That’s the only thing we need to look forward to in our short existence, and killing ourselves to only make our loved ones and friends suffer and feel guilt for the rest of their lives shouldn’t even register in our emotional and mental radar.

We must all enjoy life as we grow and mature, and happiness is found in the little things we do everyday, and in appreciation of being alive, and able to cultivate our talents and contribute to make Earth the paradise it once was. Ultimately, we all have to learn to love one another, and share in the bounty of this planet where Heaven will eventually be headquartered.

But don’t believe me. Find out for yourself—by living!

The South Korean culture, though wonderful in so many respects, is increasingly steeped in  materialism and unrealistic expectations, and dealing with an unstable brother in the north must have added to the country’s woes.  But then again, materialism is the driving engine of our “me” vain world, and it has just had a little headstart in South Korea.  But we’re all suffering now, aren’t we? Their government and mine (U.S.A) are both drowning in debt and still spending themselves into oblivion. And so are many others. Why is it so hard to live within our means? Well, the Bible will tell you we’re the most imperfect creatures on Earth, bar none, and our present age is experiencing the results of our decades-old greed and false conceptions. Better start planting to have food on your table, for it will only get worse.
