English teacher gets three years in prison for marijuana

Society is protected from another dangerous psychopath.

The second criminal division of the Jeju District Courts sentenced 25-year-old American English instructor Ms. J to three years in prison and four years of probation for smuggling marijuana in the form of a cake sent by international mail.

Ms. J was indicted for using international mail to receive a cake containing 388 grams of marijuana sent from California in June.

The facts in this story are inaccurate. The person in question did not get any jail time. And, Dalene, you may think poorly of Americans, but you only succeeded in making yourself look bad by posting such a negative, overly generalized statement.

No idea in this case, but gyopos who were wanted for murder in the US have been found here teaching English, so it does happen. However, when they do something bad they’re American, when they do something good (like win a PGA event or the MVP for the Super Bowl) they’re Korean.
