The Nation’s State has some photos at his blog. Newley has some photos on his blog here and more on his Flickr page.

There are also a broad range of photos in this Panthip thread (the first 10 or so photos are ok, but if you scroll down the page you will see some GRAPHIC photos so if such photos will disturb you don’t scroll down) and this Panthip thread.

There are a selection of photos in this Google Picassa set here.

Finally, the NYT has a slideshow of photos of French photojournalist Agnes. The first picture in particular is striking as you can see a man dressed in black with an AK47.

BP: Who is this guy? He looks very professional and distinct from the red shirts guard normally dressed in black with red (there is a four-letter word written on a bag around his waist – yes know what it reads as – but unsure what to make of it).* He doesn’t look that happy about his photo being taken. Third hand?

*In case you think the authorities don’t used such weapons, journalist Andrew Marshall tweets seeing police with AKs (and as former Reuters bureau chief in Iraq and security correspondent am fairly sure he knows his guns)**

** Am told that there are two Andrew Marshalls. The Reuters Andrew Marshall writes about security including for Thailand, but Journotopia Andrew is a different person. Apologies.
