Sponsored and special awards were also handed out to Floyd Amor of Singapore (Nokia best photo entry award); Style Shanghai (best blog element award); Wit’s Expression (Sen. Manny Villar most popular blog award); Utak ni Drake (Blas Ople Center best video award); The Chook-Minders Quill  (Smart blog award); Kablogie (Western Union best blog layout award); Poging (Ilo)cano (best entry in video format award), The Desert Dude (Friendster best blog theme award), The Dungeon Lord (Mapagkawanggawa OFW blogger award); and Isla de Nebz of Al Khobar (Nokia best blog entry award).

Adjudged best blogs by global region were Isla de Nebz for Middle East and Africa; Top Express for North America; Francesca in France for Europe; Wits and Spirits for Asia and the Pacific.
