Maintaining your personal well being will have a big impact on your success at university. At the University of Derby,students have a wide range of support services available to students at our Buxton campus. We are open throughout the year, including non term time periods, and the services we provide are tailored specifically for you.
Student wellbeing service
We offer students advice on a range of subjects, and have helped students give up smoking and lose weight safely and permanently by introducing them to healthy exercise regimes.
If you have any health or wellbeing related concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
Counselling services are available to all students, and they will not talk to your parents, tutors, doctors or to anyone else about anything you discuss with them. You may choose to use this service for short or longer term support.

Financial advice is available on childcare, funding, budgeting and money management. You can drop in to the office during the week or book an appointment.
