Wan Chai Used Book Shop: The Book Attic

I found another shop that sells used books in Hong Kong. I am referring to The Book Attic, an English language book shop in Wan Chai.
I was walking from Queens Road East to Johnston Road via Amoy Street hoping to get a tram ride back home. On my way there, I noticed a big floating billboard with an attractive slogan that says, “From Cover to Discover”.
This is another shop you may want to visit if Flow Bookshop is too far for you to go.
I am featuring Book Attic and Flow because I am passionate about this type of book shops. Why buy a new one if you can get an old one at a fraction of the price?
From the Book Attic’s website, another reason why we should minimize getting new books (unless no old copy is available) and instead share old ones (or resale them):
Do you know how many tons of paper are needed for Printing of 40,000 copies of 1376-page Lonely Planet? The answer is 38 TONS OF PAPER = TO CUT 500 VERY TALL TREES.
Knowing that Hong Kong has many companies involved in book and magazine production business, you know that the Hong Kong plays a significant role in making efficient use of trees felled to create reading materials.

There was an accident along the Luard Road – Johnston Road tram stop so I decided to retrace my steps and take Citybus Route #10 to North Point instead. On my way back I decided to take a photo of this shop, as shown.
