BEIJING (AP) — A tour bus carrying about 40 people has fallen into a valley following a crash in southwest China’s Tibet region.

China’s official Xinhua News Agency says there were an unknown number of casualties in the incident late Saturday afternoon.

Tourism has been on the rise in the scenic Tibetan plateau, where mountain roads are usually treacherous.
