Former general Prabowo Subianto will challenge the results of Indonesia’s presidential election in the Constitutional Court after his rival Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo was declared the winner yesterday.

Prabowo’s team alleges massive election fraud after  Indonesia’s National Elections Commission (KPU) said Jokowi won 53.15 percent of the vote.

Agence France Presse reports Prabowo campaign team member  Tantowi Yahya as saying: “We are in the process of preparing our challenge to the Constitutional Court.”
