PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) — Police in Cambodia say they’re investigating the death of an American teacher whose body was found wrapped in a curtain at a garbage dump in the capital.

Police official Mom Sitha identified the man as William Glenn and said he had been in the Southeast Asian nation for two months, teaching at several schools.

Mom Sitha said Saturday that Glenn left his guesthouse on Tuesday and never returned. His body was found on Wednesday.

U.S. diplomats in Phnom Penh could not immediately be reached for comment.

The Cambodia Daily reported that the man was 43 and was from Mississippi.

Mom Sitha said no suspects had been apprehended in the case yet.
