There are a wide variety of sports teams which students are able to join such as the men’s and women’s football teams, canoe and volleyball clubs. For those interested in working out, Team Derby Fitness gym offers students a competitive price and it is open seven days a week.
If you are hungry between lectures, there are lots of places to eat, from sandwich bars to on-site cafeterias which are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday.
A doctor’s surgery is available at the Kedleston Road site where students are able to receive medical advice and treatment.
The Student Wellbeing Centre is also located at Kedleston Road. The Centre provides students with a wide range of services to help students with university and home life e.g. helping you with exam stress.
