BEIJING (AP) — A Chinese state media report says torrential rains in southern China have left 11 people dead and another three missing.

The Xinhua News Agency said Wednesday that heavy rains in Guangdong province have injured an additional 14 people.

Rains have battered Guangdong and Hong Kong since Saturday, grounding some flights in Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
