On Tuesday 4 February 2014, the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment at Oxford Brookes University will be launching a live VIRTUAL OPEN DAY website.
Imagine being able to find out about what university has to offer, but without having to travel anywhere to do it. Oxford Brookes strives to embrace innovation, new technologies and technological advancements, and the university has been preparing a new way for you to find out all about the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment.
The Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment can now be visited with the click of a mouse or swipe of a finger. The Virtual Open Day website is full of exciting new video content about the facilities on offer and the community of staff and students. On Tuesday 4 February 2014, the website will launch and for one day only Brookes will show live webcasts and live content from lecturers and students, giving prospective students a chance to ask questions directly to lecturers. Sometimes it can be difficult to visit a university of choice in person, so Oxford Brookes are delighted to offer this opportunity to take a virtual tour.
The Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment at Oxford Brookes University is home to six Schools and Departments, providing specialist and interdisciplinary teaching, research and knowledge transfer across a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The programmes are delivered in purpose-built facilities in Oxford, and also by academic partners elsewhere around the globe.
