Oxford Brookes University alumnus Andrew Hynard, currently UK Deputy Chairman of global real estate services firm Jones Lang LaSalle, has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science by the university.
Hynard, a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, has held various leadership roles in a 29-year career with the company and specialises in commercial property management.
Hynard describes his time studying Estate Management at the then-Oxford Polytechnic as “the most fulfilling of his educational career” and continues to support Oxford Brookes’ Real Estate Management Society (OBREMS), our alumni society. Hynard also mentors a student as part of theBSc Real Estate Management mentoring scheme
Hynard is also an active charity fundraiser, taking part in the 2013 London Marathon and the recent Property Jogle, a charity cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land End. Take a look at this event (and lots of photos) on the Property Jogle blog
