King’s and the Community

Not only have I submitted an application for the lectrice position to Nanterre and Orléans, I have also been busy writing a Greek poetry essay, tutoring, and attending a meeting about the work I will be doing as a student ambassador at the King’s festival of food and ideas.Amongst this cloud of madness there was one moment which shone through – when I met a group of very boisterous and inquisitive French GCSE students as part of King’s widening participation programme. Two other students and I were introduced to them by a lecturer in my department who was fantastic with them, helping us answering all the bizarre questions they enjoyed throwing at us. I was introduced to them as a postgraduate student to which they all responded ‘ooooooooooooo’.
