I think I just kinda figure out what this MA degree means to me. Here is the thing, I brought my research question to my dissertation supervisor this Tuesday and actually I was pretty confident with the topic because I am interested in it and I was sure I would deal with it a lot in my future career. However, after browsing through the questions, my supervisor told me that he was not unhappy with those questions (always begin with a seemly positive tone), but he was afraid I would be quite likely to generate a business report. I “paraphrase” his words below：This may be your last chance to be academical before you go to job market, you should use this opportunity to be critical. And this academic insight may bring some different perspectives to your later job.
